FLY ON THE WALL is a (concept) series that reimagines the formative, untold moments of legendary creatives—artists, writers, musicians, filmmakers—before they became icons. The first in the series envisions Jim Henson in the 1950s, surrounded by the tools of his imagination. In a workshop filled with scraps of canvas, wood, wire, clay and fabric, he experiments with puppet designs that hint at the Muppets to come. Some creations hint at the familiar, while others remain unfinished. This series would capture creativity in its most unpolished form, at the moment when ideas begin to take shape.
